Effect of the Senate healthcare insurance/mandate bill

The average employee will have to pay $3,000 for each employee if they drop their coverage, as a penalty.

I'm guessing that most companies will drop their coverage, including our own company, because that far less money than they are paying, on average, per employee.

So if the house passes the Senate's bill in two weeks, we can all but count out our companies' healthcare insurance. That will affect me greatly.

Many predict that the heathcare providers will immediately increase their rates if the Dems pass this bill, as a preemptive move.
