Re: [Mr. Punky Kitten] Heathcare takeover

Amazing: WaPo Fails to Publish Own Poll on ObamaCare's Lowest Popularity Ever

ABC Poll Finds Health Care Law Is Massively Unpopular, Network Offers Scant Coverage

Poll: New Low In Support For ObamaCare - 43%

The first healthcare takeover occurred in the Peoples Republic of Massachusetts.

See how that is working out for them?
With healthcare reform in the news, looks like Massachusetts is looking for ways rein in costs after mandating healthcare coverage for all citizens.

A huge plurality of Americans are against this complete take over of the healthcare system that Obama/Pelosi Care represents.
That's why the Republicans won big last month.  The people realize that the Federal government has only been successful once in managing something huge, and that was Nasa. Every other experiment is a lackluster loss leader at best, and a complete disaster at worst.

Sure, we are for reform, but common sense reforms, not a takeover; like:

1) rescind the federal ban on intrastate competition amongst health insurance companies.
-- Miki is correct, insurance keeps going up, but the answer is not to take over everything by the feds, but to promote competition. Other insurance industries (not health) have intrastate competition, and are much more affordable.

2). tort reform

3). healthy life style promotion.
I commend Mrs. Obama for her initiatives to curb childhood obesity. That's the kind of thing that the Feds should do, not take over the whole system.

These are just a few of the AFFORDABLE options.
Do you have any?
