sand castles are illegal on federal property.

When Sand Castles Are Illegal Only Criminals Will Make Sand Castles

A jaw-dropping local news report that has a reporter being confronted by National Parks Service law enforcement officer for trying to dig on a public beach with a toy spade.

The story is supposed to be about BP clean up crews not being allowed to dig more than six inches down to find oil to clean up, but consider some of the other things we learn during the report.

Like you're apparently not allowed to video tape in a national park unless you're a credentialed member of the media. And that sand castles are illegal on federal property.

Your tax dollars, hard at work.
