Obama: from blank slate to empty suit

In 2008, much of the ObamaMedia projected onto the blank screen that was Barack Obama what they thought we wanted to see in a president. What they've now got is an empty suit.

Likely voters overwhelmingly believe (95%) that deficit reduction is crucial to America's future.

Who is responsible for high oil prices? Back in 2008, Nancy Pelosi blamed George Bush and Dick Cheney.Wonder if she is pointing the finger at the White House now?

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius finally admits that the books were cooked when it comes to ObamaCare cost estimates.

Why did the White House get to pick the winners and losers in the auto bailout? Winners: The Unions (UAW, specifically). Losers: Non-union auto workers. Good news: the House oversight committee is going to investigate what happened.

It's the spending, stupid:
If Obama had simply kept Bush's spending policies in place, federal deficits over the next eight years would be 60 percent lower. In 2018, we'd have a deficit of just $188 billion, instead of the projected $996 billion under Obama's budget. Link

Historic: In February our imperial federal government managed to post the largest monthly deficit in history at $223 billion. That's just for one month, and is larger than Bush's AVERAGE YEARLY deficit over his term as president.

The Washington Times points out that "Last month's federal deficit is nearly four times as large as the spending cuts House Republicans have passed in their spending bill (proposed $61 Billion cut for one year, almost negligible when compared to $3.8 Trillion budget AND mandatory spending on SS, Medicare and Medicaid.
