Re: Campaign 2010: New Faces Reign...

It's simply devastating to me the extent to which Miki and Dick have been brain-washed by the media into thinking Clinton was a deficit hawk, Bush destroyed the economy, and that Obama is some sort of savior. Non of that is true. As a matter of FACT, just the reverse is true. The growth of government is the instrument that led to the demise of the economy, and that government that grew, did so under Democrat leadership for the most part.

I'm at a loss as to what to do about your folly...

I suppose I ought to just give up. I can never convince your closed minds, with facts that are true, which I have presented to you both, to which you have summarily ignored, dismissed, or changed the subject.

I am not sure how you can equate the world's leading nation economic model into a simple yes or no question; if it were that simple, there would be no issue. The principle of a balanced budget allows countless financial models and companies to succeed. On the other hand in the government, the notion of balanced budget was offered by Mr. Clinton as a premise for how the gov should run properly and responsibly, paying down debt and curtailing debt growth. The same premise was dismissed by Bush when the irresponsible spending amounts and foolish budgeting started the economic downturn. There are so many reasons why the unbalanced budget can be sustained without exploding for years….most of those reasons are artificially injected into the economic model; increase taxes, decrease benefits, chop programs, print money, change interest rates, play with import/export guidelines etc.. one consequence is can be that debt will explode…but what about the possibility of extra money in the coffers… that would also not be an example of a balanced budget…do you think that debt can explode if you have excess?

Let's make this simple.

Do you agree that without a balanced budget, debt will explode?

And if it does explode, what do you think the consequences will be?

Then it is one statement greater than the number of true or logical you have offered…

&&&I do not favor oversized government which is not held accountable to a reasonable degree of efficient operation, (

This is the only statement of yours that has any truth or logic.
