Re: Guess what book is still at #1 after 4 weeks...
I probably won't read Bush's book, at least for now. Maybe when it comes to the library.
I've already read one chapter in Palin's new book while I was at Borders the other day, and it's a great chapter. I'd recommend this one chapter, if you are at the book store you should peruse:
Chapter 6: "Are We Really the Ones We've Been Waiting For?" page 159.
It's about personal responsibility. You know, the kind that Bill Cosby espouses to individuals. She talks about how Booker T. Washington swept the floors of the College to impress the people who will decide if he will be admitted or not. He does such a good job they decide to admit him, and the rest, as they say is history. Her message is that like Washington, individuals should take responsibility for their own lives and should go the extra mile. She mocks Obama for his words, saying that Obama is really giving the wrong message to people. Liberals want to tell people that they are doing great, even if they are not. She indicates that we should be blunt and honest with people, telling them the facts and not feel-good words to prop them up. With this I totally agree.
Hey, if you want to buy Palin's new book, it's now $12.99 on Amazon. Everything is less on Amazon, Bush's book is retail $35 in bookstores, but only $18.89 at Amazon. And Obama's latest book is now only $8.99

SO? Maybe people are reading it to see what lies the dumb bastard put in it. I already heard one comment. Bush put no problems in the book. Conclusion, he either can't recognize a problem or simply avoids putting his head in the chopping block. Are you going to read his ghost writer?----- Original Message -----Guess what book is still at #1 after 4 weeks, even with the steep price for the book...http://content.usatoday.com/life/books/booksdatabase/default.aspx?sortBy=&lastValue=0&date=latest
