Blair should join the Tories

I'm told that critics in Britain are calling for Blair to step down because of his alignment with Bush. B.S. to that.

What's my penalty for standing behind Bush...?

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

Bush has given us all this. If Kerry were president, I'm confident the terrorists would have hit us again, if not repeatedly, on or off of our own soil. With respect to the pursuit of happiness, well that would be severely hampered with Kerry, because instead of a tax cut, which spurred the economy, it would have been a tax increase, which would have led us into a deep recession. No happiness for anyone, and Liberty would go right out the door, because the D's would reintroduce the 'Fairness Doctrine' which is basically censorship (Critics of the Fairness Doctrine believed that it was primarily used to intimidate and silence political opposition). The Internet would no longer be open for free speech. Yes, re-read the Preamble, and see that under Bush we have all that, yet under the Democrats it would rapidly fade away. The Democrats have turned into the Communist Party: appease, applaud and lend aid to terrorists, destroy the economy, and take over the media. With them, free speech is only free if it comes from the left. :(

Truth be told, if Blair is having problems it is not because of his alignment with Bush, it is because he is a member of the wrong party: he should join the Tories.
